According to a report by ESPN Brazil, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has reached an agreement with Manchester United regarding Cunha's rest. The main forward of the Brazilian national team will get rest in the last three rounds of the Premier League to fully recover his condition and prepare for the upcoming World Cup.

The report stated that ahead of the World Cup, injuries to several Brazilian players have put pressure on coach Ancelotti, and the news of Cunha's situation is positive. The national team's number 10 player recently had adductor muscle problems, but despite playing with injuries, he returned in the classic match against Liverpool and scored a key goal, helping Manchester United win and secure a Champions League spot for next season.

Since the main goal of this Premier League season has been achieved, Manchester United has agreed to the request from the Brazilian Football Confederation to "protect" Cunha in the last three league games to avoid further injuries.

ESPN pointed out that even though Cunha can currently persist in playing, the core of the agreement is still prevention, ensuring that he will play in the World Cup, which opens in more than a month, in 100% healthy condition.

Manchester United's next three rounds of matches are away against Sunderland, home against Nottingham Forest, and the final round away against Brighton.
