Real Madrid star Eden Hazard is keen on a move to Major League Soccer at the end of the season, according to a report.
The 31-year-old announced his retirement from international soccer after Belgium crashed out of the World Cup at the group stage but now has his future at club level to consider.
He is said to be unhappy with his lack of minutes at Real Madrid and could look to make a move next summer.
As he looks to revive his club career the Belgian is very interested in joining MLS, according to L'Equipe.
But he wants to wait until the end of the current LaLiga season to make the switch, rather than making the move in the upcoming January transfer window.
Hazard is reportedly unwilling to move in January as he doesn't want to upend his family.
'I have one more year and I have to show [what I can do] but it isn't easy. I'm not playing, I want to play more. I'm really sorry about what has happened, ' said Hazard during an interview prior to the start of the World Cup.
'In January it's impossible [to leave], because I have family and I like the city.'
His contract at the Bernabeu expires in June 2024 but the Spanish giants are said to be willing to let the former Chelsea star leave next summer.
Hazard failed to adapt well to life in the Spanish capital after his sensational $109million move from Chelsea in 2019.
He has rarely been called upon by manager Carlo Ancelotti, making just six appearances for Los Blancos so far this season.
In the lead up to the World Cup, Real Madrid played 14 LaLiga fixtures but Hazard featured just three times for Ancelotti's side in the Spanish top-flight and failed to provide a single goal contribution.
Furthermore, the Belgian captain has only played 72 games in total since his big-money arrival from Chelsea - the same number that he has missed through 16 different injury problems.
