The Belgian striker, on loan from Chelsea scored his first open-play goal in the league since August just into the second half.
Lukaku blasted home his second with 15 minutes left, before turning provider for strike partner Lautaro Martinez, who came off the bench and netted at the death to secure the victory.
The result sees Simone Inzaghi's side overtake bitter rivals AC Milan into fifth, at least temporarily. The Rossoneri - Inter's opponents in the Champions League semi-finals next month - host struggling Lecce later on Sunday afternoon.
