As the two biggest favourites to win the trophy this season, Liverpool and Man City both showed us their dominance in the weekend. With the backing goal of Salah, Liverpool made a four goals win over West Ham. With David Silva and De Bruyne in bench, Man City still beat Arsenal on two goals. As most AFers predicted, these two teams are the most powerful competitors for the champion this season.
2. Man Utd and Chelsea
Manchester United and Chelsea, who had many doubts before the season, also started their new season with victory. Pogba's outstanding leadership makes fans regain their confidence in Man Utd, while Sarri conquered Stamford Bridge with his command and cigarettes. Maybe Chelsea's ranking shall be higner than predicted 7th?
3. Arsenal
When we talk about Arsenal this weekend, the word "Unlucky" is widely used. Losing to Man City and waiting to face Chelsea after one week, the new Arsenal led by Emery is in an awkward position. Can they overcome difficulties and return to the top four as most predicted? Let's wait and see.
