England rugby head coach Eddie Jones has waded in on the spy storm surrounding Leeds United.
Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa revealed that he sends spies to the training ground of every team he faces after one was caught at Derby last week.
And while Jones admitted that rugby coaches have used similar tactics in the past, he said that increased availability of video footage means that espionage is no longer essential to scout opposition teams.
'Twenty years ago it was quite common,' admitted Jones, who has been coaching for 25 years, in an interview with Sky Sports.
'There wasn't much vision of teams around so you used to send coaches out to have a look at the opposition, put them with swagger hats on and all sorts of different things.
'That used to go on but I haven't seen much of it of late because there's an abundance of vision you can get on teams.
'You don't really need to do that but I'm sure it still goes on now and then.'
But Jones admitted that he does take precautions to stop opposition teams spying on his training session.
He added: 'You've just got to make sure you take the precautions to minimise the risk of that happening and we'll certainly do that.'
