Ex-Man United star, 37, has contract at Turkish club TERMINATED

An ex-Manchester United winger has seen his contract at a Turkish Super Lig club terminated after 10 months.

Nani, who spent eight years at the Red Devils, leaves Adana Demirspor Kulubu with immediate effect.

The former Portugal internationl signed for the Turkish side in July 2023 on an initial one-year deal, with than option to extend.

However, his time at the club has been cut short with the club sitting 11th in Turkey's top-tier with just two games to go.

In a statement, the club said: 'We have parted ways with Luis Nani by mutual agreement. We would like to thank Nani for his services and we wish him success in his future career.'

Nani is most known for his time in Manchester, making 230 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 41 times and providing 71 assists in all competitions.

The spellbinding winger won nearly everything while at Old Trafford, playing a key role in one of Sir Alex Ferguson's final golden era in charge of United.

In just his first season at the club, he got his hands on both the Premier League and the Champions League.

Three more league titles followed, as well as two League Cups, and a Club World Cup.

Nani's time at United came to an end in 2015, although his final season at the club was spent on loan at the side he was signed from, Sporting CP.

The Portuguese player has been to his fair share of clubs since departing Old Trafford, seven to be precise, including Fenerbahce, Valencia, and Lazio.

His desire to win silverware did not stop after life in Manchester. Most notably, he had success with his country.

Nani started the Euro 2016 final in which Portugal defeated France 1-0, after extra time. He even took the captains armband after Cristiano Ronaldo was forced off through injury.

Despite all his success, the former United man is not done yet. Now a free agent, Nani is not ready to leave the game and is looking for a new club.
