FA Cup third round draw: Time, date and ball numbers

The FA Cup kicks into gear next week with the draw for the third round.

Premier League and Championship teams enter the fray, with Manchester City beginning the defence of the cup won with a 6-0 thrashing of Watford in last season's final.

There are five non-league clubs left in the draw, with AFC Fylde beating Kingstonian on Saturday. Solihull Moors take on League One outfit Rotherham United for a place in the third round, while Eastleigh, Hartlepool United and Boston United - from the sixth tier National League North - earned a home replay against Rochdale.

By the close of the third round, 735 qualifying teams would have been whittled down to 32.

When is the draw?

The draw will take place from 7pm GMT on Monday, December 2.

Former FA Cup winners Tony Adams and Micah Richards will be conducting the draw.

The draw will be shown live on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.
