FIFA gamers slammed for attempting to make in-game profit on missing Sala

FIFA gamers are attempting to make an in-game profit with new Cardiff striker Emiliano Sala feared dead after his plane went missing overnight.

They are attempting to sell their Sala cards on FIFA's Ultimate Team for up to 10 times their original value.

Sala Ultimate Team cards, which were selling for around 800 coins before the incident, were suddenly listed for 10,000 coins on Tuesday morning.

Ultimate Team is a mode on FIFA that enables you to build teams using any players from any league to play offline and online.

You win in-game coins to purchase better players, or packs which contain random footballers.

It appears that the relisting of Sala for huge profit is not an isolated incident, with FIFA gamers having previously done something similar when Fabrice Muamba collapsed in 2012.
