The agent of Napoli star Fabian Ruiz has admitted interest in his client from "big clubs" amid rumours linking him with Liverpool and Man City.
Midfielder Ruiz has impressing for the Serie A side over the last three seasons, and has been ever-present during this campaign.
As well as interest from the Premier League, the Spaniard's form has attracted the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid to his talents.
And Ruiz's agent Alvaro Torres has done little to play down suggestions the 24-year-old could be set for a change of scenery this summer.
"A few months ago, we decided to leave the issue of Fabian's contract to one side," Torres said. "We can return to it at the end of the season.
"It's understandable that some of the big clubs in Europe are interested and have been asking about him. He's spent the last three years playing at a very high level, he's managed to lock down a first choice place in the Spanish national team - something that isn't easy to do with the competition there is, he was the best player at the Under-21 Euros.
"The way he has been evolving, it would be strange if they weren't interested."
Ruiz is under contract until 2023, meaning there is little chance of any club's landing the star for less than Napoli's asking price - believed to be in the region of £50million.
Both Liverpool and City have also been put on alert by a latest admission by Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes regarding Kai Havertz.
The £90m-rated midfielder looks set to move on this summer after Havertz declared his ambitions to make a "big step", and conceded that could take him abroad.
Rolfes told Bild : "The fact that Kai will eventually leave Leverkusen is a logical development.
"I am not surprised that [moving] abroad attracts him. We know what he feels very comfortable with us, we are in constant contact with Kai – everything is open and transparent."
