Man City fans believe John Stones should partner Fernandinho at centre-back when the Blues face Southampton.
City will play the Saints for the second time in a week on Saturday after the victorious Carabao Cup fourth round clash that saw Pep Guardiola's side come out 3-1 winners on Tuesday.
MEN Sports asked City fans on Twitter: "Presuming Fernandinho comes back into the side following his suspension against Southampton, who should partner him in defence?"
The overwhelming winner with 58 per cent of 916 votes was Stones.
The 25-year-old has only completed 90 minutes four times this season after struggling with a muscle injury but now looks set to finally have a strong run in the side, something he really needs after his form dipped last season.
In second place was Garcia with 27 per cent of voters opting for the 18-year-old who clearly has bags of potential and is yet to put a foot wrong in blue.
Only 14 per cent of votes went in Nicolas Otamendi's direction with one per cent going for 'other.'
