Fans caught a glimpse of Cristiano Ronaldo's infamous shin pads during Manchester United's clash with Burnley on Tuesday night.
Ronaldo - who started the game on the bench - was seen kissing his personalised shin pads before slipping them into his socks at Turf Moor.
However, his lucky shin pads did little to help Manchester United or Ronaldo as the striker failed to find the net once again and the Red Devils drew the game 1-1.
Ralf Rangnick made the decision to drop Ronaldo to the bench for Manchester United's Premier League clash with Burnley.
The interim manager decided to start Edison Cavani ahead of Ronaldo - who has struggled to find the net in Manchester United's last four games.
Rangnick said that Cavani would be better at 'chasing the ball' down against Burnley. He also suggested that Cavani would be better at performing repeat sprints.
Therefore, the 37-year-old was forced to wait on the bench until the German manager required his services.
Once he had been given the nod by Rangnick, CR7 grabbed his shin pans and began getting ready to take to the pitch.
The striker was seen kissing his personalised shin pads multiple times before stuffing them into his socks.
Ronaldo's shin pads appeared to have a picture of his face next to the crest of the Portugal national team. They also displayed images of his four children.
Fans were quick to comment on Ronaldo's shin pads - taking to social media to say: 'This is peak Ronaldo.'
Another added: 'The guy is kissing a photo of himself? As rituals go, that's about as Ronaldo as you can get.'
While one supporter wrote: 'Bro does Ronaldo have his own photo on his shin pads this guy is crazy.'
Ronaldo's lucky shin pads seemed to have little impact on his performance - given the striker went another game without scoring.
As result, Ronaldo stormed down the tunnel after the full-time whistle on Tuesday evening.
He was frustrated with the fact Manchester United had thrown away their lead to draw 2-2 with the relegation strugglers.
