Romelu Lukaku climbed into the list of top 20 all-time Premier League goalscorers by bagging a brace against Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening.

Lukaku netted his 110th and 111th Premier League goals at Selhurst Park, drawing level with former Red Devils striker Dion Dublin in joint-20th place.

Lukaku also joins fellow Man United marksmen Wayne Rooney, Andy Cole, Michael Owen, Teddy Sheringham, Robin Van Persie and Dwight Yorke in the top 20 list.

From the Premier League list, only Alan Shearer is good enough to make the all-time top 20 first division goalscorers list.

The Newcastle legend stands fifth on 283 goals behind Jimmy Greaves (357), Steve Bloomer (314), Dixie Dean (310) and Gordon Hodgson (287).

Nonetheless, football fans took to social media to praise 25-year-old Lukaku on his impressive achievement.

One person claimed the Belgian is 'underrated,' praising him for breaking into the leaderboard at such a young age.

Another fan suggested Lukaku deserves more 'respect,' having scored for Anderlecht, West Bromwich Albion, Everton and the Belgium national team.

Lukaku gave United the lead against Palace on 33 minutes, placing perfectly into the bottom corner from the edge of the penalty area.

He added a second after half-time, lobbing Crystal Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita.

Joel Ward pulled one back for the hosts before Ashley Young secured the points with seven minutes remaining.

Lukaku is 16th in the Premier League scoring charts this season with 10 goals.
