Lionel Messi once again stole the show at the Nou Camp as he capped off a mesmoring tiki-taka move to hit Sevilla for six.
Short passes, quick movement, unerring accuracy and uncompromising execution must all come together in a perfect alchemy for this high-octane style of play to pay dividends.
And on Wednesday night, Barca were in full flow. They were in the mood and dismantled Sevilla in the Copa del Rey with a sequence of play from straight out of the top drawer.
Perhaps the best example was the hosts' final goal. A beleaguered Sevilla, who were 5-1 down at the time, were forced to watch as Barca tore them in stoppage time.
Arturo Vidal put the ball into the path of Luis Suarez, who then dribbles the ball into the Sevilla box before playing a precise one-two in close quarters with Gerard Pique.
The Uruguyan then received the ball back before pulling a delicate pass back into the centre of the box.
Another audacious backheel was played to Lionel Messi, who burst onto it and swept it home to complete a scintillating team move.
'Absolutely ridiculous move for this Messi goal,' one fan wrote on Twitter.
'How is that even possible?,' another dumbfounded fan asked.
It was Barcelona at their very best, certainly too good for Sevilla, and they cruised into the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey after reversing the two-goal deficit from the first leg.
