Fans are in fits of laughter after seeing Romelu Lukaku seemingly giving instructions to Kevin De Bruyne.

During Belgium's shock defeat to Morroco in the Qatar World Cup, the striker was seen by the Manchester City star, whispering something in his ear by the corner flag.

But it's the reaction of the City player that has some supporters in hysterics - with many suggesting that someone the stature and class of De Bruyne would not be taking advice from Lukaku, whose career has taken a nosedive.

One wrote: "Lukaku giving KDB advice LMAO... that brother really thinks he's him." Another joked: "Lukaku coaching KDB on the sideline - this team is cooked."

One stated: "WTH (What the Hell) could Lukaku possibly be saying to KDB there." Someone wrote: "KDB listening to advice from 'substitute-manager' Romelu Lukaku..."

Will Belgium even make it out the group stage from here? Let us know in the comments section.

A last one said: "Lukaku and teaching people what to do. He thinks De Bruyne's listening..."

The Red Devils were handed a hugely disappointing loss to the African nation, despite being the world number two out of all international sides.

Late goals by Abdelhamid Sabiri and Zakaria Aboukhlal saw them go top of Group F with four points.

Belgium keeper Thibaut Courtois was at fault for the first goal, after the Real Madrid Golden Glove winner allowed Sabiri's inswinging free-kick to beat him at his near post after 17 minutes.

The Europeans looked laboured and never really got going. They were brushed aside when Aboukhlal smashed Hakim Ziyech's cutback into the roof of the net in stoppage time.

The Al Thumama Stadium erupted with thousands of Morocco fans raising the roof as their side pulled off an unexpected win.
