Fans praise Mane as he continues brilliant run of form with Senegal

Sadio Mane has continued his fine domestic form on the international stage, and Liverpool fans are just as impressed by his form in a Senegal shirt.

The 26-year-old had helped his side to a 2-0 win over Madagascar in their final African Cup of Nations qualifying clash as they topped Group A to qualify for this summer's tournament.

The striker was given a breather on Tuesday, as he started on the bench for his nation for their friendly against Mali, but there was no sign of him taking it easy when called upon in the second half.

Mane rescued his side with a well-taken equaliser in the 88th minute, bursting through the defence before calmy slotting beyond the goalkeeper.

And he didn't stop there, setting up a stoppage-winner for Moussa Konate as the hosts turned things around late on.

It wasn't only those present in Dakar who appreciated the performance, as Liverpool fans took to social media to express their delight at seeing one of their stars continuing their fine form.

One Liverpool fan account proclaimed: 'Sadio Mane's just scored for Senegal after coming on with 15 minutes left. He's got the Midas touch!'

One supporter noted: 'Sadio Mane can't stop scoring, can he,' while another simply described the forward as ' the absolute main fella'.

Mane will be back in action for Liverpool on Sunday when they face Tottenham at Anfield in a match that could go some way to deciding the title race.

Reds fans will be hoping he can continue his fine form against Spurs.
