Fans have reacted to the launch of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba's Pogmoji app.

The 25-year-old revealed that he had a 'big announcement' to make on social media on Sunday  and then released a video announcing his very own app on Instagram and Twitter.

Alongside the video, he wrote: 'Merci all for trying to guess but today’s announcement is only about fun.

'I’m launching the Pogmoji App for you to customise your pictures and spice up your conversations. It’s the Pogstyle on the palm of your hands.

'Search for POGMOJI on the AppStore or Google Play. Use the hashtag #POGMOJI and maybe you can be featured!'

Prior to the announcement Pogba used the image from the controversial Instagram post he uploaded and then deleted 10 minutes later following Jose Mourinho's sacking last week.

Pogba faced a backlash led by former United defender Gary Neville after putting up a smiling picture of himself and wrorte 'caption this' after the Portuguese boss was given the axe.

This time he covered his face with a PogFace and the caption read: 'Now caption this, big announcement later today.'

Following the launch of Pogmoji, one Twitter user wrote: 'Should try launching your career at United instead.'

Another Tweet read: 'Gets three assists and launches an app... fair play,' while one fan wrote: 'Basically that tweet explains everything that is wrong at the club right now.'
