MANCHESTER UNITED fans loved Sir Alex Ferguson's emotional reaction to the club winning the FA Cup.

Goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo helped the Red Devils beat Manchester City 2-1 at Wembley on Saturday.

Late pressure from their rivals set up a nervous finish but Man Utd held on for victory.

Like many fans, Sir Alex was on the edge of his seat in the stands as he feared City were going to equalise in "Fergie time".

And incredible new footage has emerged of his reaction towards the end of the game.

The legendary manager is seen nervously checking his watch as the clock ticks into stoppage time.

Then as the final whistle goes, the 82-year-old gets on on his feet and shakes hands with chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe sat in the row in front of him.

Ferguson's smile beamed as Bruno Fernandes lifted the FA Cup.

And the Scot looked emotional as he took in the celebrations while singing "Glory, Glory, Man Utd".

Fans loved that Fergie's passion for the club is as strong as ever, with one saying: "This man breathes Man Utd."

Another added: "Watching him happy makes my day better."

A third reacted: "Literally the best feeling in the world seeing Sir Alex happy."

Despite a poor season, Man Utd's cup final win means they have qualified for the Europa League.

However, they may be axed from the competition due to Ratcliffe's stake in French side Nice.

They qualified for the Europa League by finishing fifth in Ligue 1.

And Uefa's ownership rules prevents clubs with the same "decisive influence" from playing in the same competition.

Ratcliffe has until June 3 to convince the governing body that his role at both Nice and United doesn't violate the rules.
