However, according to RMC via 10 Sport, Neymar attended the 'European Poker Tour' in Paris before heading out for a McDonalds on Wednesday night.
Neymar is said to have attended the Poker game in Paris on Wednesday after arriving home from PSG's Champions League loss on Tuesday.
The report states that Neymar paid €10,000 (£8,895) to enter the game before heading out to a Parisian McDonalds later that evening.
Neymar was photographed sitting inside the fast foot restaurant with his friends. He was seen wearing a green jumper and black trousers.
Neymar's friend captioned the picture: 'Levando ele pra fazer coisas normais' which translates to 'taking him to do normal things'.
Jonatan Marques Andrades Navarro and Carlos Henrique were also tagged in the picture which is said to have been taken on Wednesday night.
Neymar came under-fire for his decision making after Paris Saint-Germain's loss to Bayern Munich.
Many fans felt it was inappropriate to attend and poker game and eat a McDonald's after Mbappe urged his team-mates to look after themselves.
One fan wrote: 'When Mbappe said "eat well" he wasn't talking about McDonalds'. Another one added: 'You have to eat well and sleep well, Mbappe said'.
While one football fan wrote: 'There are some who still manage to defend him. It's so unprofessional. He just doesn't give a damn about football, he lives to enjoy but it's outrageous given what salary he gets'.
