Fenerbahce have today confirmed that they have snapped up former Rangers winger Ryan Kent on a free transfer.
Kent was released by the Scottish side at the end of the season and has now agreed a fresh four-year deal with the Turkish Cup champions.
The 26-year-old signed for Rangers from Liverpool for £7million back in 2019 after impressing during a loan spell at the Ibrox in the previous campaign.
However, Rangers decided not to re-sign him once he reached the end of his four-year contract.
Alfredo Morelos, Scott Arfield, Allan McGregor and Filip Helander were also not offered a new deal with the SPL runners up.
Fenerbahce announced the signing of Kent by releasing a video of the player's first message to the fans.
Draped in the team's home colours, he said: 'Hello Fenerbahce fans. This is Ryan Kent. It's an honour to be joining Fenerbahce.
'After speaking to the club I am aware of the visions and targets for next season and I look forward to helping my team achieve those goals, starting with the Super Cup next month.
'I am excited to start pre-season, meet my team-mates and you fans. Take care.'
A club statement read: 'Our club has reached an agreement with Ryan Kent, whose contract with Glasgow Rangers has expired, for a period of 4 years.
'The official contract will be signed after the health checks to be made when our player arrives in our country for the season's camp. We present it to the public.'
