The transfer window has long been closed for Liverpool to bring in any players, but that's not the case for those who might still leave the club.
That is because the transfer window in France, Germany, Italy and Spain remains open until Monday, September 2.
Meanwhile, League One and Two sides can still secure loan moves and could certainly be interested in a crop of young Liverpool players.
And there could be more players who could still leave Anfield this summer, so we've picked out five and provided the latest around their situations alongside what could happen next.
Dejan Lovren
Dejan Lovren was the subject of serious interest from Roma and talks had been ongoing between Liverpool and the Serie A side.
However, the European champions grew frustrated with the Gialorossi during the negotiating process and were unhappy with their attempts to unsettle Lovren so broke off the deal.
Liverpool had placed an asking price of around €15million (£13.9m) plus bonuses on Lovren, to take a possible deal up to €20m but Roma were attempting to take the centre-back on loan for the season so negotiations stalled.
It looks as if the Croatia international is set to remain a Liverpool player until January at the very earliest - though German newspaper Bild have reported that Bayern Leverkusen are interested in his services and could make an offer before the end of the window so there's a chance he could still be on the way out of the exit door.
Ryan Kent
Liverpool are believed to have set an asking price of around £12million on Ryan Kent this summer.
The winger, who spent a successful loan spell at Rangers last season, attracted interest from the Scottish side but earlier this month boss Steven Gerrard accepted that meeting the cost for Kent was unlikely and beyond his budget.
Reports then emerged suggesting a possible "compromise" deal, involving a loan with a view to a permanent move next summer, was being discussed between the two clubs.
However, a loan is not on the agenda for Kent and no other form of deal has been suggested so he will remain at Anfield - unless Liverpool's valuation is met and a permanent deal comes to fruition.
Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones signed a new long-term contract at Liverpool last Friday, signalling exactly what the club's intentions with him are.
The 18-year-old midfielder featured regularly during pre-season and has risen right through the Academy ranks at Anfield having originally joined the Reds at U9 level.
Jones is highly thought of at Melwood, is a key part of the U23s side and has also made his first-team debut against Wolves in the FA Cup back in January.
The Reds may well keep him at Anfield to continue his progress around the first-team squad and development side but if a loan offer comes in from a strong European side with whom Jones is guaranteed football the club maybe tempted to allow him to depart for the season.
Adam Lewis
In similar vein to Jones, Adam Lewis signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool back in February.
The 19-year-old has impressed with appearances for the U23s and worked with the first team during pre-season, making several appearances.
There have recently been reports that Tranmere enquired about securing the young full-back's services on loan this season.
Yasser Larouci looks closer to securing a first-team place than Lewis and Andy Robertson is the clear senior option in his preferred position so it may make sense for him to look away from Anfield for more regular game time this season.
He could also, of course, opt to stay at the club where he will no doubt be a key part of the U23s side so any potential move coming to the fore in the next 12 days will be carefully thought about.
Herbie Kane
Herbie Kane made 49 appearances during his impressive loan stay at Doncaster last term, scoring seven times.
Championship clubs Hull and Charlton were linked with a loan move for the 20-year-old this summer but after the transfer window closed attentions reportedly turned to clubs set to battle for promotion in League One.
Portsmouth, Sunderland and Coventry were said to be monitoring the highly-rated young midfielder but Liverpool are said to want to keep Kane to further his development at Melwood this season - though a loan may suit the player himself more so it is a situation to monitor.
