PHIL FODEN and his pregnant girlfriend Rebecca enjoyed a sun-soaked holiday before Euro 2024.

The father-of-two whisked away partner Rebecca with his son Ronnie, five, and daughter True, two.

He shared adorable snaps cuddling his eldest boy in the pool while also holding his daughter's hand.

Foden, 24, wrote: "Was a bit sunnier than Stockport. Recharged and ready to go."

The playmaker is expecting his third child with Rebecca, who he met as a youngster at a party in Stockport.

Foden helped Manchester City to a fourth consecutive Premier League title this season.

And he also bagged himself the player of the season award for his part to play in the campaign.

It sets him up perfectly for this summer's Euros in Germany with Foden seen as a key member of Gareth Southgate's squad.

The City star was not included in the side that beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 3-0 last week.

Former club team-mate Cole Palmer, Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold and England captain Harry Kane all got on the scoresheet.

The Three Lions now host Iceland on Friday in their final friendly before kicking off their Euros campaign against Serbia on June 16.

Much has been made on whether Foden will start out wide or centrally, the two positions he occupies for City.

Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham is expected to take an advanced midfield role which would push Foden on the wing.

But Southgate will interchange then during matches.

He said: “It’s about where they start and where you want them to end up. That’s the key.

“In the way Jude was defending on the left for Real Madrid, he wasn’t stuck out on the left. And I think that’s how the modern game is. Everybody with the ball is in a completely different area.

“You write a formation down but you’re never in it really. So it just helps for the teamsheet.

“Jude’s playing the season very high up the pitch for Madrid.

“Defensively a bit of a mix. He’s defended as a 10 or as a left winger at times.”
