Footage of Egypt training shows Salah’s goal direct from a corner was no fluke

Mohamed Salah has proved that his goal directly from a corner against Swaziland was all skill after video footage emerged of the Liverpool talisman attempting it again during a training session with Egypt.

The 26-year-old wowed football fans from around the world when he audaciously scored from the set-piece on Saturday, helping his country overcome Swaziland 4-1 in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match.

Salah's goal was picked up on social media  with some viewers believing the goal was a fluke.

However, last season's golden boot winner has showed that he's got it in his locker to score from the unlikeliest of circumstances.

The footage shows all of Salah's Egyptian team-mates line up in the box waiting for a delivery before a signal is given.

However, it appears that Salah ignores the signal and curls an effort straight at goal while trying to catch the goalkeeper off guard.

While Salah does catch the goalkeeper not paying attention, his effort comes agonisingly close to creeping in, only for it to crash off the crossbar.

It appears that the prolific winger has been attempting this type of goal for a while now and it finally paid off for him at the weekend.

Despite the win and the fantastic goal from the Egyptian, Salah did limp off the pitch and has since returned to Liverpool to be assessed for the muscle injury.
