Arsenal have set their sights on recruiting former Barcelona duo Andoni Zubizarreta and Robert Fernandez as part of a shake-up behind the scenes, having missed out on bringing Monchi to London.
Following the departure of Sven Mislintat last month, the Gunners have been without a sporting director for several weeks.
The Independent report that their search has led them to the two former Barcelona executives, who they are considering filling the void.
Zubizarreta is currently filling the same position at Marseille, while Fernandez is working as a television analyst.
Raul Sanllehi is currently working at Arsenal and shared a boardroom with both individuals during his time at the Camp Nou.
