Former Elland Road youngsters Danny Rose and Fabian Delph are top transfer targets for Leeds United this summer.

Manager Marcelo Bielsa is looking to add top-flight experience to his squad as they return to the Premier League for the first time since their 2003-2004 campaign.

The Premier League duo are both out of favour at their current clubs  - Rose is at Tottenham while Delph is an Everton player - and could reportedly be sold to Leeds for around £5million each.

Rose started his career in the Leeds academy before being sold to Spurs as a 16-year-old in 2006.

The Tottenham left-back, who ended the season on loan to Newcastle, has 12 months left on his contract at Spurs but is thought to be surplus to requirements in north London.

Rose has his sights set on returning to international football and worries that a lack of pitch time under Jose Mourinho will hamper his chances.

Therefore, a move to his former club could be regarded as a good opportunity to gain the minutes he is longing for.

Everton midfielder Delph also started his career at Leeds, making 44 league appearances for the club before being sold to Aston Villa in 2009.

Now playing under Carlo Ancelotti, the 30-year-old's career has not gone as planned, failing to appear at all since February.

Several other high-profile players have also been linked with Leeds since they secured promotion into the top-flight after 16 years.

Owner Andrea Radrizzani admitted that the out-of-contract Paris Saint-Germain forward, Edinson Cavani, was a potential target after their transfer swoop for Zlatan Ibrahimovic failed, according to ESPN.

But Cavani looks more likely to be heading to Benfica while Bayern Munich are also keepinh an eye on his situation.
