According to Foot Mercato’s chief reporter Santi Aouna, Arsenal’s initial offer for Christian Nørgaard has been rejected by Brentford.
Reportedly, Arsenal submitted a first bid worth over €10 million for the Danish midfielder, but Brentford turned it down.
Nørgaard is said to be keen on joining the Gunners, and negotiations between the two clubs are expected to continue.
As previously reported by DO, Arsenal have yet to reach a contract renewal agreement with Thomas Partey, whose deal is set to expire next week—making him a free agent. Meanwhile, Arsenal have already submitted a formal offer for Nørgaard.
