Fulham are weighing their options over a permanent move for Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze, with the Premier League side reportedly reluctant to meet the €24 million buyout clause set by AC Milan.

Chukwueze joined the London club on loan last summer and has quickly become an important figure at Craven Cottage.

The 26-year-old attacker has delivered consistent performances under manager Marco Silva, contributing three goals and four assists in 20 league appearances so far.

His pace, creativity, and ability to take on defenders have made him a fan favourite among Fulham supporters, many of whom are eager to see the club secure his services on a long-term basis.

Reports suggest his influence on the pitch has significantly boosted Fulham’s attacking options this season.

However, despite his impact, Fulham are not fully convinced about triggering the agreed purchase option.

The €24m valuation is considered steep by the club’s hierarchy, creating a major hurdle in negotiations.

According to reports from Italian media, while Chukwueze has grown into a key figure for the fans, Fulham’s management remains cautious about committing to the financial demands of the deal.

Meanwhile, AC Milan are open to selling the former Villarreal CF winger as they plan to restructure their squad ahead of the new season.

The Serie A side are keen to generate funds and streamline their roster, making Chukwueze one of the players available for transfer.

With the summer transfer window approaching, Fulham must now decide whether to negotiate a reduced fee or risk losing a player who has become central to their attacking setup.
