Fulham full-back and PSG loanee Layvin Kurzawa (30) has suffered a knee ligament injury, the player has announced. The on-loan left-back said that he had suffered a “ruptured internal lateral ligament” after receiving a heavy knock in training. Kurzawa has posted a picture of his left knee in a brace on Instagram. The French international joined the West London side last summer on loan after an injury-ridden 2021-2022 season in which he only played nine minutes in competitive games with PSG’s senior squad.

Kurzawa played only three games in the Premier League and three more in the FA Cup. The former Monaco youth product scored a game-winning goal in the fourth round against Sunderland. The 13-time France international is not expected to feature again for the Cottagers as his loan will end at the end of June. He will then return to PSG with whom he is tied to a contract set to expire in 2024.
