Liverpool are gearing up for their return to Premier League action this week after the international break.
The Reds travel to face Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, as they continue their quest for a top four finish. Liverpool are seven points adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur with two games in hand in the Premier League.
After Liverpool face Man City, Jurgen Klopp's side travel to the capital to take on Chelsea next Tuesday night. And while the Reds have their own injuries to deal with, it looks like the Londoners also have some selection issues.
Here, the ECHO takes a look at what Chelsea and manager Graham potter have to deal with as the clash with Liverpool nears.
Kai Havertz
Chelsea forward Kai Havertz was withdrawn from the Germany squad during the international break.
Havertz was withdrawn due to illness, and it remains to be seen whether he will recover in time for the clash against Liverpool next week.
Germany confirmed that Havertz would return to Chelsea in a bid to recover from the illness.
Reece James
Chelsea defender Reece James was withdrawn from the England squad last week due to a hamstring injury.
The right-back is said to have been suffering with an “ongoing issue” with the injury, and looks set for another spell on the sidelines.
James played for just five minutes during England's win over Italy last Thursday, with England later releasing a statement.
"Reece James has withdrawn from the England squad and will not feature against Ukraine on Sunday,” the statement read. “The full-back has returned to Chelsea for an assessment on an ongoing issue.”
Mason Mount
Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has been sidelined with a number of injuries in recent months.
He was withdrawn from the England squad, despite initially being called up by Gareth Southgate.
Mount has been suffering from a lower abdomen injury, but Chelsea hope that he could be available for after the international break.
Raheem Sterling
Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling suffered a hamstring injury shortly before the international break.
While the injury was not thought to be overly serious, Sterling was withdrawn from the England squad as a precaution.
It remains to be seen whether the former Liverpool forward will be back available to face his old club next week.
Edouard Mendy
Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy suffered a fractured finger in January which required surgery.
The Senegal international has since been gradually recovering from the injury and even returned to training alongside fellow goalkeepers Kepa Arrizabalaga and Marcus Bettinelli.
Cesar Azpilicueta
Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta sustained a concussion in Chelsea's defeat to Southampton last month.
He was later submitted to hospital for checks, but now appears to be on the mend and nearing a return to action.
With James a selection doubt, Chelsea boss Potter may be forced to bring Azpilicueta into the team sooner than he would have hoped.
Thiago Silva
Chelsea defender Thiago Silva suffered a knee injury in their defeat to Tottenham last month.
The Brazilian has been sidelined with the injury ever since and there has been no exact time frame released on when he will be back available, although it was initially stated that it would be around six weeks.
Should that be the case, then Silva faces a big test to be fit in time to face Liverpool next week.
Armando Broja
Chelsea striker Armando Broja suffered a serious knee injury back in December and was ruled out for the remainder of the season.
Broja ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in a mid-season friendly against Aston Villa which later needed surgery.
The striker has been pictured featuring at Chelsea's training centre in Cobham, although it has mostly been gym work.
