Gary Neville says Ten Hag faces a 'BIG' setback after 7-0 defeat by Liverpool

Gary Neville believes Manchester United  'lost their heads, their shape, and their discipline' as Liverpool shocked Anfield with a 7-0 demolition of Erik ten Hag's Red Devils.

Ten Hag has broke all expectations since taking over at Old Trafford in the summer and continued that trend on Sunday, but perhaps not in the way the Dutch disciplinarian was hoping.

Former Man United title-winning full-back Neville has been a huge advocate of Ten Hag's transformation but admitted Liverpool's outstanding showing was a 'big' set-back for him to deal with.

'He’s dealt with set backs Erik ten Hag, this is a big one. They’ve gone to pieces in this second half.

'They've lost their shape, they’ve lost their discipline, they’ve lost their heads. I never had them down as title winners, I think it’s a miracle Ten hag has got them where he has. This is out of character for this team. This is really bad today, its a sore one but, I think it is a bad one.
