Cardiff City have registered an interest in Genk striker Mbwana Samatta who is the Belgian first division's top scorer.

The 26-year-old was poised to join Schalke but that deal is on hold after Cardiff proposed a £13m offer.
The Tanzanian striker has plundered 57 goals in 142 games for the Belgian club across four seasons.
The hitman moved to Genk from Congolese side TP Mazembe in 2016, having started his career with Simba SC in his homeland.
Samatta, born in Dar Es Salaam, has scored 17 times in 45 appearances for Tanzania having made his international debut aged 18.
Cardiff also remain in talks with Nantes striker Emiliano Sala ahead of his proposed £20m move.
Cardiff defender Matthew Connolly is close to joining Hull City on loan.
