Gerrard joined the Liverpool Academy at age nine. At age 17, he signed his first professional contract with Liverpool and made his senior debut a year later in 1998. He stayed at Liverpool for almost all his career and became the greatest player ever there. Now, he has been coaching Scottish Premiership club Rangers for 2 years since 2018–19 season.
