Erling Haaland has been pictured signing a Manchester United home shirt as speculation continues to surround his future at Red Bull Salzburg.
United scouted the prolific Haaland in the Champions League fixture with Liverpool last week, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer flew to meet Haaland's representatives in Salzburg early on Friday morning.
The United manager said on Sunday he believes the 19-year-old Norwegian has decided on his future ahead of the January transfer window: "I don't comment on them speculations so that's it. He [Haaland] knows what he wants to do and he knows what he's going to do. So I don't have to give any advice to any other teams' players."
With Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig also linked with Haaland's signature, an image appeared on social media on Tuesday evening appearing to show the 19-year-old signing a United shirt, sending fans into a frenzy as they speculated what it could mean in their pursuit of the striker.
Haaland later posted the image to his own Instagram, along with pictures of him signing other club shirts, including that of his current club Salzburg. Haaland also signed a 1999-00 Leeds United replica his father, Alf Inge, wore, as well as a Napoli shirt. Haaland is believed to have signed the shirt at a fan event in Bryne, Norway.
Earlier in the evening, Haaland had posted a number of images to Instagram of his incredible season so far, thanking fans for their support this year and looking forward to 2020.
