Haaland hilariously mocks Stones by nailing Man City team-mate's Barnsley accent

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has enjoyed a record-shattering first year in English football, yet his talents clearly aren't confined to just the football pitch.

Because it also seems Haaland, who has scored an astonishing 47 goals in 40 games for City this term while already levelling the record for most in a single Premier League season (32), is also a very skilled impressionist off it.

The Norwegian goal machine left fans in stitches during a recent sit down with team-mates John Stones and Ilkay Gundogan for Etihad Airways, where the trio picked out some of their favourite holiday destinations in a video on City's YouTube channel.

While discussing the most impressive sights they've seen on their travels, Stones attempts to name The Louvre, a national art museum in the French capital of Paris, but his Barnsley accent makes pronouncing it slightly difficult.

The England defender instead says 'The Loooouve' to leave Haaland and Gundogan in hysterics, before the latter corrects him by pronouncing it correctly.

However, Haaland then goes one better by absolutely nailing Stones' accent in a hilarious moment which quickly went viral on social media.

Fans were both amused and impressed by his impression of Stones, hailing it as a flawless Yorkshire tone.

One wrote: 'Wow is there anything this man cant do???'

Another commented: 'Haaland is pure f*****g vibes man!'

A third put: 'He’s better at Stones’ accent than Stones is'.

A fourth posted: 'Absolutely unbelievable hahahaha'.

Another said: 'I still am watching this and I can’t stop'.

While one simply put: 'It’s the eyebrow raise for me'.

Haaland was in fact born in Yorkshire himself, which could explain his incredible execution of Stones' accent.

Yet, the 22-year-old moved back to his hometown in Norway at the age of three and grew up in the country before signing for Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg in 2018.

He has reached dizzy heights in his first season at City, breaking a number of goalscoring records to help Pep Guardiola's men compete on three fronts in 2022-23.

With less than two months of the season remaining, Haaland and Co are in with a strong chance of landing a famous treble while still in the FA Cup and Champions League and hot on Arsenal's heels at the top of the Premier League.
