Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland has rewritten the goalscoring handbook since arriving on the scene with Red Bull Salzburg and has now revealed the secrets behind his success.
The 19-year-old got off to a flying start at the German giants, where he became the first player in Bundesliga history to score a hat-trick on his debut after coming on as a substitute.
He also broke top-flight records in Germany after scoring five goals in his opening two matches, seven in his first three games, eight goals in five, and then a staggering nine goals in his maiden six.
The superstar teenager has also bagged an incredible 40 goals in 33 appearances for both RB Salzburg and Dortmund – something the Norwegian striker credits to how he enjoys his life off the pitch.
'I train a lot, and I meditate a lot,' Haaland told Borussia Dortmund TV.
'Before a game, I like listening to music from the Norwegian rapper Amara. And before every match I listen to a song called "Keep Dreaming". That's the song I listen to before every game.'
'When I'm not playing, I like to play FIFA with my boys. My favourite food is kebab pizza.'
Haaland has become one of the game's most sought-after players and is currently on the radar of Europe's biggest clubs.
His 25 top-flight goals this season is matched by Robert Lewandowski and only bested Lazio striker Ciro Immobile, who has 27 goals to his name.
And while the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United are keen on signing him, Haaland has revealed there is no better feeling than playing in front of Dortmund's famed Yellow Wall.
'It gives you goosebumps. To watch the wall and to see all these people - it's amazing,' Haaland explained, before discussing the buzz he gets when BVB fans chant his name.
'It's one of the best feelings of my whole life, to be honest,' he said with a smile. 'When this happens it's amazing. I cannot describe it.'
For those looking to emulate the Leeds-born forward, he says: 'Stay hungry, always chase your goals.'
