Hamann criticized Tuchel for his extremely conservative tactics after taking the lead against Argentina, which reminded him strongly of Southgate.
"I think Tuchel will face overwhelming criticism, people are saying he is the second Southgate, this evaluation is a big blow to him, everyone is blaming him for the team's exit."
Hamann was particularly dissatisfied with the team's excessive reliance on Kane. This Bayern Munich striker is considered the uncrowned captain of the England team, but Hamann believes Kane's performance in crucial matches at this FIFA World Cup was unsatisfactory.
