Harry Kane looks set to be fit for Norwich clash after returning to training

Harry Kane reportedly returned to Tottenham training on Saturday ahead of his side's trip to Norwich, handing Antonio Conte's side a major boost as they aim to wrap up fourth spot on the final day of the season.

The England captain emerged as a potential doubt for Sunday's game when he missed training and pulled out of media commitments on Friday due to feeling unwell.

A stomach bug affected several members of Tottenham's squad before their 1-0 win against Burnley as well. Conte tried to play down fears that Kane could sit out the match at Carrow Road by claiming the forward's condition was 'the last of our problems' during his press conference on Friday.

It seems that he was right not to be concerned as the 28-year-old trained with his team-mates the following day, according to Football London.

This indicates that Kane is feeling better, and should be able to take his place in the starting line-up as usual.

Kane has started each of Spurs' last 35 Premier League matches, highlighting how key he is to Conte's team.

He has netted 16 top flight goals this term, with 12 of those coming since the turn of the year, to put Tottenham in pole position to land the final Champions League place.

Tottenham hold a two-point advantage over arch-rivals Arsenal heading into the final day as they prepare to face already-relegated Norwich, while the Gunners will take on Everton at the Emirates Stadium.

A draw is very likely to be enough for Spurs to finish above Arsenal and seal their place in next season's Champions League thanks to their superior goal difference.

Yet they could still be pipped by Mikel Arteta's men, which explains why Kane's availability is so important.
