Daniel James is the latest Manchester United player to have jetted out to the Greek island of Mykonos to take some time away before the start of the new season.
The 22-year-old winger has been seen being put through his paces over several high-intensity drills - a more rewarding way to spend his time after club captain Harry Maguire was arrested after a bar brawl last week.
But despite the ongoing furore surrounding the England defender, United still return to action next month and James appears more determined than ever to raise his standards.
Having flown to Mykonos after United's Europa League semi-final defeat to Sevilla, a series of social media posts show James gearing up for the new campaign at an exclusive elite-athlete resort.
Mykonos Performance have proved popular with an array of Premier League stars in recent years during pre-season, and claim on their website that the players are provided with the 'perfect conditions to optimise performance in style'.
Their clients, with James included, are able to benefit from fitness and wellness services while still enjoying some well-deserved time away in the sunshine.
The Wales international endured a mixed first campaign at Old Trafford and will be targeting consistency during his current preparations.
He scored in three of his first four top-flight clashes, including a debut strike against Chelsea, and then provided five assists across nine games shortly after that.
But his bright start after the move from Swansea soon came crashing down, and James was heavily criticised for his ineffectual displays from the substitutes' bench.
Mason Greenwood soon replaced James as a regular first-team starter, but his agent Jonathan Barnett has insisted that the electric wideman was always likely to sustain a notable dip in form.
James' team-mate Maguire, meanwhile, has returned to England after spending two nights in a cell on the island.
There are allegations that the 27-year-old was involved in a fight in Mykonos in the early hours of Friday morning, which resulted in him being arrested and charged.
His trial is set for Tuesday, but Maguire will not have to attend.
