Eden Hazard has lavished praise on Sergio Ramos and believes that he still has a number of years ahead of him.
Hazard and Ramos had been at Real Madrid together since the summer of 2019 before the former captain's departure this summer and the Belgian has revealed how much he enjoyed playing alongside him.
"I wish him the best," said Hazard in his pre-match press conference ahead of Belgium's tie with Finland.
"I would have liked to have kept playing with him.
"We were together for two years.
"He is a leader."
Hazard went on to state that Ramos' career at the highest level of professional football is far from over.
"He still has many goals to score," he said.
"He is one of the best defenders in football's history.
"I hope that he carries on enjoying it."
