Eden Hazard reunited with the ball boy he kicked over 10 years ago during the week and the pair both shared their stories of the fallout from the incident.

Back in 2013, Charlie Morgan became an overnight sensation after he was involved in an altercation with the Belgium forward during Chelsea's League Cup semi-final match against Swansea.

Hazard had appeared to kick the ball boy as he held on to the ball in an attempt to help the Swans waste some time.

Tempers then flared between both sets of players before Hazard was shown a straight red card.

Morgan has subsequently gone on to become a successful businessman and is worth over £40million through his ownership of AU Vodka.

The pair have clearly put the incident behind them as they linked up for a photoshoot to promote the alcoholic drinks brand this past week.

They also sat down and reflected on the aftermath with Hazard saying: 'my mum was like almost crying. She was like 'you kick a boy'. I was like no I didn't even touch him I just wanted the ball.'

Morgan then discussed how his life was impacted in the weeks that followed.

'I left that game thinking this was gonna be a small thing,' he said. 'I was quite good friends with a lot of the Swans players at that time.

'There was like a big night out celebrating. Obviously we were in the finals. I get home at like 5.30pm so it was like a super late night right.

'Mum has a phone call at 6am. The front door is on ITV News and Sky Sports News. Luckily I was home 30 minutes before that so they didn't see anything. For like a month it was like all the newspapers outside my house like Fox News, Sky News, the paparazzi etc.

'You became famous!' Hazard joked. Morgan then said 'for like two weeks I was super famous and then super not famous.'
