Chelsea star Eden Hazard has collected the Premier League's Goal of the Month award for April, following his sublime solo effort against London rivals West Ham at Stamford Bridge.
Hazard wowed the football world by picking up the ball just inside the opponents' half, before embarking on a mazey run which saw defenders falling at his feet and slotting the ball into the bottom corner.
Caressing the ball from one foot to the other, Hazard took on five men before finishing off the fine effort. He would later go on to score again in the game to wrap up a 2-0 victory for his side.
In winning the accolade, Hazard fought off competition from the likes of Liverpool's Mohamed Salah - who was in the running for his long range effort against Chelsea at Anfield.
Hazard said the strike was among his best for the club, when speaking following the announcement of his success.
'It's in the top for sure,' Hazard told the Premier League. 'Especially because it was a derby as well, in front of the fans at Stamford Bridge.'
Hazard's goal was chosen as the winner by a panel of experts combined a public vote through the Carling website or App, beating seven other contenders.
The award may well be one of the final ones Hazard wins as a Chelsea player, with the Belgian continually linked with a summer move to Real Madrid.
Hazard is believed to be among the top priorities of Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, who is looking to rebuild the squad at the Bernabeu.
Recently footage circulated involving Hazard, showing the forward in his car beside supporters who were asking him to stay at Stamford Bridge.
In the short clip, Hazard could be seen offering a little grin before appearing to shake his head and then driving away.
