Rob Edwards expressed his delight after Wolves completed the deadline day signings of England international Angel Gomes and forward Adam Armstrong.

With Wolves looking likely to suffer relegation to the Championship, they sold striker Jorgen Strand Larsen to Crystal Palace in a big-money deal that could be worth up to £48m.
But Edwards' side also made two key additions, with England international Gomes signing on loan from Marseille until the end of the season in a deal that includes Wolves having the option to buy the midfielder.
Gomes came through the youth system at Manchester United and made 10 appearances at Old Trafford before spells at Lille and Marseille in Ligue 1, as well as having a period on loan with Boavista.
The 25-year-old has also earned four caps for England but has recently fallen out of favour at Marseille, not starting a league match since November, although he has still appeared 20 times across all competitions.
Edwards believes the talented midfielder will prove to be a fantastic addition.
"I'm delighted, really excited," he said about signing Gomes. "He's young, but he's experienced now, he's got a lot of games behind him.
"Everything that he brings, his intensity, his energy, his enthusiasm for football, we want him to bring all of that.
"He's got bags of quality, so I'm looking forward to seeing him integrate into the group.
"I've got a really good relationship with Angel – we go back quite a long way now. He is a brilliant, technical player, and he's got a great brain. He gives us real quality in that midfield area.
"He and I have been speaking for the last few weeks. I explained what we wanted to do and that we would love to have him here and how he can help us.
"He's really excited to get playing in England, and it's really exciting for us to have someone who's hungry to be here and wants to show everyone how good is."

Armstrong, meanwhile, has arrived from Championship side Southampton in a £7m deal.
The 28-year-old, who netted 11 times for Saints in the league this season, has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract at Molineux.
"Adam's really excited to be here," added Edwards. "He's a competitor and he's got something about him that we need now.
"He was really keen to come and join Wolves, and wants to play for Wolves, so it's a really good day for the club getting him in.
"He's someone I've admired for a long, long time. He's a really good footballer, a goal threat and a goalscorer."
After suffering consecutive defeats to Manchester City and Bournemouth, Wolves are hoping to bounce back when they play at home against Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday, before they are away to Nottingham Forest on February 11.
