Mohamed Elneny has lifted the lid on what makes Liverpool's Mohamed Salah so good.
Elneny said he and Salah are like ‘brothers’ with the pair having spent large spells on their careers together. The duo both played Swiss side Basel and have also lined up alongside one another for the Egyptian national team for several years.
“Salah is my brother. We played in the same team in Egypt and then he left to join Basel," the midfielder told Turkish publication Milliyet .
"After that, I followed him, and I joined Basel. We were together most of the time. Then he went to England, after that I went to England.
“I don't want to say he is my friend because he is much closer to me. Everybody knows what a great player he is. In my opinion, he's one of the best players in the Premier League.
"He knows what he wants. He is very smart. He can see the small details and punish the opposition.”
