Recently, French striker Henry once again publicly expressed his admiration for Guardiola. In an interview, he talked in detail about the huge impact that the Catalan coach had on his career and football philosophy.

The legendary French striker, who once worked with Guardiola at Barça, said that before working with Guardiola, he always thought he knew a lot about football. After all, whether it was during his Arsenal period, or throughout his career, he had won many honors, so he was very confident in his tactical understanding.

"It was this person who completely changed my view of football," Henry said. "When I first met him, I thought I already knew a lot about football. But he re-'programmed' my brain and made me truly understand what pressure is, what is overall defense, and how to move the defense forward as a whole and defend in a higher position."

Henry recalled that when he joined Barça, he was already convinced that he had mastered many football concepts. After all, before that, he had won many important championships, including the European Cup. However, Guardiola still showed him a new dimension of football tactics.

"When I came to Barça from Arsenal, I felt in good shape and understood the game very well. I had won a lot of things, and I had also won the European Cup... I was by no means a novice." Henry said, "But this man completely changed the way I understand football."

At the same time, Henry also particularly emphasized the influence of some top coaches on the ideological level of the dressing room, and how they change players through training and concepts.

"Some coaches are infectious because of the way they train the team and the way they make you re-understand football," Henry said. "For me, he completely changed the way I understand football today."
