Manchester United faced off with Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon at Old Trafford.
United headed into the tie unbeaten in the Premier League this term, but no doubt keen to bounce back from their League Cup exit at the hands of West Ham in midweek.
Aston Villa, meanwhile, have been fairly inconsistent of late and have had a torrid time against the Manchester powerhouse in recent years.
Despite this, when all was said and done in Manchester, it would be Dean Smith and co. who came away with all three points.
Man United dominated but could not turn their efforts into any sort of clear-cut chances. Then, in the 88th minute, Kortney Hause’s glancing header from a corner fired the away side into the lead:
Moments later, Hause appeared to have given United a lifeline when he handled the ball in his own box.

In the aftermath of the game, some of the travelling Villa fans were spotted mocking Cristiano Ronaldo.
A video doing the rounds of social media showcased a group of Villa fans stood near Old Trafford in a circle.
They would then each take turns jumping into the middle of the circle to perform CR7’s trademark ‘SIUU’ celebration.
