How far will each Premier League team travel? Man Utd stars top

  /  autty

The first international break of the new season is here but Premier League players won't be afforded much time for rest and relaxation as they represent their respective nations.

Every English top-flight side has players jetting overseas and the air miles are racking up for individuals travelling the globe to compete in international fixtures.

England players will benefit from shorter trips abroad for European Championship qualifiers against Ukraine and Scotland, but others have to endure long-haul flights that could wreak havoc on their body clocks when the Premier League resumes.

Stars representing Brazil, Argentina and Colombia face the longest trips as they travel to South America to partake in World Cup qualifiers.

Mail Sport has crunched the numbers and done the maths behind every Premier League side's international break and the total miles players are having to travel.

MAN CITY - 68,408 TOTAL MILES

The Premier League champions have started their title defence in blistering form with a 100 per cent winning record with victories over Newcastle and Fulham being particularly impressive.

City's squad of international talent has again been plucked during the international break as a host of first-team stars temporarily wave goodbye to the Etihad.

Erling Haaland and Nathan Ake will benefit from relatively short trips abroad with Norway and the Netherlands, but long journeys lie ahead for Ederson and Julian Alvarez.

Pep Guardiola is also expected to travel during the international break as he flies back to England from Barcelona after undergoing back surgery.
