Callum Hudson-Odoi and Nick Pope will start for England against Kosovo in their final European Qualifier, Sky Sports News understands.

Pope earns his first England start, after the Burnley goalkeeper was first called up in March 2018, while Chelsea winger Hudson-Odoi makes only his second start as Gareth Southgate explores his squad options.

Southgate could make further changes for the final European Qualifier at the Pristina City Stadium on Sunday with James Maddison a doubt with a minor calf strain and John Stones set to be rested.

It means Tyrone Mings is likely to win only his second England cap alongside Harry Maguire, though Fikayo Tomori is also pushing for his England debut, and could feature at some stage.

The trip to Kosovo gives Southgate a chance to look at some other players in his squad with only a few games remaining before Euro 2020 gets under way.

Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford could also be given a rest with Tammy Abraham - who scored his first senior international goal in the 7-0 win against Montenegro - and Callum Wilson waiting in the wings for their chance up front.
