Callum Hudson-Odoi continue his recovery from an Achilles injury with a goal for Chelsea Under-23s in their win over Southampton on Saturday.
Hudson-Odoi latched onto a ball from Charlie Gilmour before finishing expertly past the goalkeeper on 57 minutes to make it 1-0.
Under-23 boss Andy Myers then substituted the forward on 75 minutes, meaning he now appears set to return to first-team football providing he doesn't suffer a setback.
Hudson-Odoi signed a new five-year deal worth £180,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge this week to end speculation over his future.
