Hull City owner Acun Ilicali is to take 500 supporters on a luxury all-expenses-paid holiday to Turkey this summer.
In what is a first in English football, the celebrity TV tycoon will host the fans for five days at a five-star resort in Antalya.
The extraordinary trip will be reserved for the supporters who have attended the most Hull matches this season, as well as others drawn from a lottery.
In total, 250 fans will be selected and they can each take a guest, with a private plane to be put on from Humberside Airport.
Ilicali broke the news at a Q&A event with fans at the MKM Stadium on Thursday night.
The ‘Turkish Simon Cowell’ first revealed his ambitious plans in an interview with Sportsmail shortly before he took over at Hull in January.
‘I am dreaming such crazy things like taking Hull people to Turkey on their vacations, let them enjoy the beauty of my country,’ he said at the time.
Ilicali has now followed through with that promise as part of his bid to get ‘fans involved in the club like no club has done before in world football’.
The flamboyant 52-year-old, who made his millions producing reality TV shows in Turkey, bought the Championship outfit from the Allam family for £30million.
He immediately sacked manager Grant McCann and replaced him with Georgian Shota Arveladze, who has won three of his 13 Championship games in charge.
Hull are 20th in the table but 12 points clear of the bottom three.
