Ian Wright fires back at his son after Man City beat Arsenal

  /  autty

Ian Wright thinks 'annoying' son Shaun Wright-Phillips should show him a little bit more respect after Arsenal were hammered by Manchester City.

Wright-Phillips, who enjoyed two spells with City as a player, could not resist poking fun at his Arsenal-supporting dad after the Gunners were shellacked 4-1 in a huge clash between the Premier League's title contenders.

'Hi @IanWright0 how's things?' Wright-Phillips tweeted. 'Just checking in... Hope you're OK dad.'

Match of the Day host Gary Lineker could not resist passing the message on - just in case Wright himself hadn't seen it - live on air.

'He's so annoying!' Wright fired back. 'I taught him how to wee this boy... he still can't reach the toilet now!'

With co-pundit Alan Shearer in hysterics next to him, Lineker retorted: 'He's certainly taking the wee now!'

More to follow.
