Ibrahimovic scores in FOURTH different decade since netting for Malmo in 1999

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was back to scoring ways on Saturday as he netted in the second half of AC Milan's victory over Cagliari.

It wasn't just the 38-year-old first goal for Milan since 2012, but it also marked a significant milestone.

The goal meant that the Swedish striker has now scored in four different decades after first finding the back of the net for Malmo back in 1999.

Ibrahimovic struck Milan's second goal on his first start since leaving LA Galaxy with a first time shot into the bottom corner.

Rafael Leao had given the Italian giants the lead just after half time in the 2-0 win as they look to push their way back up the Serie A table.

Ibrahimovic's first goal came on October 30, 1999 for his local side Malmo against Vastra Frolunda - 7388 days ago.

He has since gone on to enjoy a prolific career in terms of both medals and goalscoring, with Saturday's goal the 475th goal of his career.

Ibrahimovic has played for nine different clubs in his extraordinary career so far, which has taken him from Sweden to Holland, Italy, France, England and even the USA.

Between 2001 and 2004 he scored 48 times for Ajax before making the first high-profile move of his career to Italy.

He stayed for just two seasons at Juventus, scoring 26 times, before he went to Inter Milan and hit 66 in three seasons.

The Swede moved to Barcelona in 2009 but stayed for only one season, scoring 22 times. He moved to Milan for the first time in 2010, initially on loan, and scored 56 times in 85 games.

He made the surprise move to PSG in 2012 where he enjoyed the most prolific spell of his career, netting an astonishing 156 goals in 180 apperances.

A move to Manchester United followed, which was wrecked by injury after one goal-laden season. He still managed to score 29 times in 53 games.

In 2018 he made the move to the USA, and scored 53 times two seasons for LA Galaxy before making the move back to Europe.
